Papaya zinger


With a houseguest and not much in the fridge apart from half a papaya, some carrots and an apple, I invented this truly delicious juice to get him going for his meetings. Being orange, and containing both ginger and turmeric, it is immunity-boosting and packed full of vitamin C. He liked it so much I now have to make it every morning!!!

Serves 2

2/3 to 1/2 papaya depending on size
1 large or 2 small carrots
1 apple
1 inch knob of ginger
1 inch knob of turmeric
half a lime
mint to garnish

Bung it all into the juicer…Drink and enjoy! Plop in an ice cube as it is better chilled…
