It’s becoming very repetitive saying ‘quick and easy’ about every recipe – but it’s true! The sesame seeds offer a twist on more regular Thai recipes. We ate it with stir-fried Chinese cabbage, a great mixture.
Thai chicken with garlic and sesame seeds
2 tbsp sesame oil
4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1 large dried red chilli, sliced
2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp light soy sauce
3 spring onions,sliced diagonally
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Heat the oil in a wok, and fry the garlic slivers until golden. Add the chilli, fry for a few seconds, add the chicken and stir fry until browned. Then add the fish and soy sauces, stir, add the spring onion and stir well until chicken is cooked through. Just before serving, add the sesame seeds and mix well.
